Fr. Paul Hrezo

State Chaplain

Fr. Paul serves as College Spiritual Director at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus. 

 Fr. Paul was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Steubenville on May 27, 2000 after having completed studies at the Josephinum.  His first assignment was as parochial vicar (i.e. assistant pastor) at St. Mary’s Church in Marietta.  He became a 4^th Degree Knight at the exemplification in Marietta on November 23, 2002.  He served as chaplain at Marietta Council 478 until June 2003 when he received a new assignment as parochial vicar at St. Benedict Church in Cambridge.  There he served as chaplain of Council 1641.  While in Cambridge, Fr. Paul also served as Mission Director for the Diocese of Steubenville and as a member of the Diocese of Steubenville’s Liturgy Committee.  In September 2005, Fr. Paul was then sent to study spirituality at the Angelicum in Rome, completing an STL (License in Sacred Theology) in June 2007.  Fr. Paul enjoys running, hiking, golf and tennis.
